The view out of my kitchen window is currently that of giant granny pants drying gently on the line in the warm summer morning breeze. How delightful! Our next door neighbour, Vera, also has a fascinating infestation of gnomes and ceramic creatures of all shapes and sizes, which peer up at my bedroom window unrelentingly.
But I’ll escape them all soon, since in a few weeks I must leave my lovely lovely house. * sadface * The difficulty of working as a performing artist whilst paying for fulltime education has just gotten too much for me, and I need to spend a few months on the charity of friends and family to house me until a few more pennies trickle in!
It’s not all as depressing as all that - it is the summer season now, which means many many days of sleeping in tents or vans at festivals and shows, traveling around Europe and, most thankfully, lots and lots of work
hoorah!
So I’m off to make costumes, equipment, train routines, create more choreography and market myself to the eyeballs… oh and have some fun at festivals. yay!
In other news, I am sadly also still quite unwell. The giardia seems to have been misdiagnosed, and I have had some very painful and tiring relapses of abdominal troubles. “curses!” but I am now on a ridiculously boring diet, and am booked in to the gastroenterology (cool word huh?) dept at the hospital to be poked and prodded lots…. so hopefully they can fix me soon. It’s quite difficult to perform at the moment!!
that’s it for now.
bye!
those sneaky creepy sicknesses that can just subtley build up….. until suddenly your ASS EXPLODES CONTINUOUSLY FOR A WEEK!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! … (I exaggerate for effect *grin*)
